How It Began
Aditi and Kabir met as college sweethearts in Bangalore and spent nearly a decade building dreams together. Both creative professionals, they shared a love for slow mornings, jazz music, and everything vintage. When they finally decided to marry, they wanted their wedding to feel like “a quiet poem surrounded by joy” — deeply personal, yet unforgettable for everyone who attended.
Their Vision
The couple envisioned a modern wedding with old soul charm. They didn’t want a grand palace or a glitzy ballroom — they wanted intimate spaces wrapped in warm lighting, floral meadows, and earthy tones. Most of all, they wanted their story to be visible in every detail — from hand-written welcome notes to their favorite books scattered around the venue.
Bringing It Alive
Estrela Events transformed their vision into a series of soft, nostalgic experiences. A private heritage courtyard in Jaipur was chosen for its rustic arches and lush greens. We designed an outdoor mandap with muted marigold drapes and beige-white florals to reflect their understated elegance.
Instead of a traditional stage, we created a “Memory Lane” wall with 100+ candid photographs from their decade-long journey. Personalized table centerpieces told micro-stories of their relationship — from their first date to proposal.
Their favorite jazz instrumentals played softly in the background as guests entered, while a handwritten poetry reading replaced a loud sangeet night.
The Moments
The most touching moment came during the pheras, when Kabir surprised Aditi with a poem he had written and memorized — whispering it into her ear just before the vows. It brought tears to her eyes and goosebumps to everyone around.
Another unforgettable moment: Aditi’s grandmother gave her blessing holding a letter Aditi had written as a child about her dream wedding. It was framed and gifted to her during the reception.
And to close the night, a barefoot couple’s slow dance under fairy lights — no DJ, no spotlight, just applause and laughter.
